As noted in the May 26 edition of the Left Angeles Times, the ACLU has threatened to sue the County of Los Angeles if it does not remove the cross from the county seal. Mike Antonovich has defended the cross saying, “The cross on our county seal reflects these historical facts. It does not mean that we are all Roman Catholic or that everyone who resides in our county is a Christian-it only reflects our historical roots.”
