So Ted turner has fallen off the wagon and slipped off his cracker. He now says he cannot choose sides in the war on terror and that US based news media that broadcasts to the rest of the world should not use the American flag as a background.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I think our fight is useless, or unnecessary; nothing could be further from the truth. But we will not win it, at least not in any way that we’ll recognize victory.

Why? Because we do not have the will to be ruthless. Our enemy is ruthless. They slaughter civilians who are helping Iraqis. They are slaughtering innocents. Do we have the will to absorb these atrocities? For now, but we do not have the will to do what must be done to crush the terrorist mongrels.

After listening to the most recent beheading on the John Ziegler show, my stomach still churning, I came to the only conclusion I could think of, a plan of action that would “stick it” to the terrorists. Their demands were simple, release female prisoners. Our response should be equally simply, televise the execution of all female prisoners.

Someone got it right, of course that somone has been dead for 39 years.

I heard about the horrendous execution of Kim Sun Il on the news. I was saddened, as most of the world, to hear him plead for his life. There is nothing that any government could do at that point.

What I didn't know was that he was a professing Christian, who studied theology. He specifically had learned Arabic, and pursued work in Iraq, as a bridge to missions.

Kim was fluent in Arabic, holding a graduate degree in that language from Seoul's Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in February 2003. He also had degrees in English and theology, and had hoped to become a Christian missionary in the Middle East.

You may have noticed decreased exposure of that elusive UBL (for the acronym challenged, that Usama Bin Laden). Seems that the master of terror (sorry Mr. Craven) has gone underground, disappeared, or died.

Let’s assume he is still alive ... CURSES, he got away. Well, sort of. More like, he’s on the run; and that is a very good thing.

If you are being astute as ever, you will also have noticed that Al Qaeda is less and less in the spotlight, and other terrorist conglomerates are emerging. That’s bad news ... sort of. What seems to really be happening is terrorist egos are getting them into trouble Where once we had UBL in our sights, we now have his protégé Muktad al Sadr. That is to say, major leaders are becoming more visible as they strike out on their own (cf. Papa John’s pizza).
